Parlingo Review

The app we’re covering today is called Palringo, and it’s perhaps the most unique of any on this list. Palringo is most closely related to Reddit, in that it’s meant to be an online community-building tool.

The Parlingo App Review

The main component of Parlingo is its chat rooms, which literally offer tens of thousands of subjects to choose from. In addition to the typical type & wait styled chats, Parlingo more recently integrated audio into their chat functionality. This means that some rooms are real, audible group conversations.

Palringo also offers several different in-chat games to enjoy as you converse with other members. These include hunting simulators, robot fighting games, and just about anything else you could think of. if you’ve read any other of our reviews, you probably know by now how much we enjoy games on dating apps. They’re just a smart idea.

Related to the games on Parlingo are their achievements, which reminded us of a lot of Imgur’s achievements. You’ll get badges for doing things like using the app for certain lengths of time, as well as doing “firsts”.

Considering that this online community contains several hundreds of thousands of members, and a metric ton of audio & text-based chatting forums, you’d be hard-pressed to find a reason to steer clear of parking. It’s just too cool to not try out.

While by no means the most obvious way to meet a new romantic partner, we really dig what Parlingo is trying to do. Their online spaces are expertly curated, and we have no doubt that they’ll be around for a long time.
